Mind your manners, please

WE all have get riled at the lack of manners of people these days. A family holiday abroad reminded us of a world in which people behave in a pleasant and civil manner, where there is order in social situations….All it took to bring back reality home was an Air India flight back. Who to turn to at a time like this than Lynne Truss, who wrote the best-selling “Eats, Shoots & Leaves”, on bad grammar in everyday life? Now this British author takes on bad conduct, in her book, “Talk to the Hand,” which I reviewed on Sunday.
